NOAO astronomer Tod Lauer is the leader of a team selected by NASA to further develop Destiny, the Dark Energy Space Telescope, a small spacecraft that would detect and observe more than 3,000 supernovae to measure the expansion history of the Universe. For more, see NOAO Press Release 06-10.
