47 Tucanae, NGC 104

47 Tucanae, or NGC104, a globular cluster in the constellation Tucana, as seen by the CTIO 4-meter Blanco telescope in 1975. One of the nearest globular clusters, at only 16000 light-years, 47 Tuc has a diameter of 210 light-years and a mass about one million times that of the Sun.
