Clouds Above Cerro Tololo

Clouds roll above Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory (CTIO) but that does not stop the telescopes from doing their important work of observing the Universe. Shown in this timelapse are (from left to right) the SMARTS 1.0-meter Telescope, the Curtis Schmidt Telescope, the Víctor M. Blanco 4-meter Telescope, the SMARTS 1.5-meter Telescope, and the SMARTS 0.9-meter Telescope. At the center of this platform, on the white tower, is the DIMM1 Seeing Monitor.
