Moonlit Night at Cerro Tololo

While the bright spot in the sky leads one to conclude that it is daytime at Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory (CTIO), the stars confirm that it is, in fact, nighttime. The bright object in the sky is the Moon, its light exaggerated in the long exposure shots that make up this timelapse video.
